*Update* adding pictures
Office:
Back about, oh I don't know, 5 or 6 months ago, I said I was going to organize the kids playroom. Well, I finally got the time stopped procrastinating and just did it already!! We got rid of 1 trash bag full of broken toys, papers, etc and have a huge box and a second small box filled with donation/garage sale items, including about 15 stuffed animals! The train table is gone too, it's going to be sold via Craigslist or at a garage sale in the spring. The boys used it to store all their trains, tracks and other pieces that went with them, but never used the table for playing on. They ALWAYS, ALWAYS made the cities on the floor, mostly in the small landing between the two rooms upstairs, or in the living room. So now the table is out of there, I moved some things around and we bought a 2-drawer storage container. The drawers are actual tubs, 18 in deep X 26 X 22 and have handles on each side. One tub holds all their trains except for the roundhouse, parking garage and mountain. The other tub is over half full with hot wheels and some bigger cars. They actually have room to play in there and I FINALLY set up Alex's My First Craftsman Workbench, that he got at the b-day party back in, ahem, June.
I also managed to organize/declutter some of the office. If you remember the video of me playing the flute, you may remember the pile of stuff behind me (it looked like the closet had thrown up, LOL). It's gone! Well sort of, I went through it, pitched a garbage bag full of stuff and boxed up the rest neatly and stacked the boxes neatly IN the closet, leaving enough room for wrapped presents. Which by the way, I am nearly done shopping for gifts already! Woohoo! I have a few people left to buy for but I will share my Christmas list and the boys' stuff later. Like after they are in bed and can't sneak up behind me and read the list. That would be a good time. Yeah. Okay, time to go clean up the living room from the tornado that is clean laundry. And I will add pictures of the finished playroom and the office later too.
